Ouse Bridge police incident: man left with head injury

A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of wounding following a disturbance which caused traffic chaos in York.
A Kirkbymoorside man is due to appear in court this morning charged with wounding and possessing an offensive weapon in public.

At around 9am on Saturday 26 April, police were called by the ambulance service to a report of a 19-year-old man with serious injuries in the Yeomans Court area of Kirkbymoorside.
North Yorkshire Police has made more than 100 arrests since launching Project Titan – cracking down on county lines drug dealing in York.

A new police taskforce has made more than 100 arrests as it seeks to crackdown on county lines drug dealing in York.

County lines drug dealing is the “highest risk” to York and has resulted in “significant violent incidents”, said one of the sergeants involved in the operation.
