People who call York home will be able to enjoy many of the city's cultural highlights for free this weekend.
The annual York Residents' Festival takes place this weekend, Saturday, January 31 and Sunday, February 1, opening museum doors to York residents, offering free entry to attractions and slashing food prices.
Major attractions taking part include York Castle Museum, Yorkshire Museum, York Art Gallery, and Beningbrough Hall.
