Visitors will be transported back to the age of horse-drawn carriages and bustling coaching inns at York Castle Museum.
A new immersive installation, developed in partnership with Novo Theatre, will offer a fresh way to enter Kirkgate, the museum’s recreated Victorian street, through a reimagined coaching inn.
The exhibit, titled The Last Stop Before Kirkgate, brings to life the atmosphere of 19th-century York through character stories, sounds, and a detailed setting.
