Shortly after 9.30am today (Wednesday 28 December 2022) police received reports of a body which was found at Selby Dam Pumping Station.
Police are continuing to investigate the sudden death of a man in Selby.
This is currently being treated as an unexplained death. Enquiries are continuing to establish the full circumstances.
The cordon has now been stood down.
