Council tax payers in York could see an increase in their bills as part of plans to support frontline policing.
The Mayor of York and North Yorkshire has proposed a rise of £15 per year for a Band D property as part of the policing and crime precept for 2026/27.
The precept helps fund policing services and is paid for through council tax.
