✈️ Love is in the Air: Win a 1-Hour Flight Experience for 2!

This Valentine’s Day, take your hearts (or your sense of adventure!) to new heights. We’ve teamed up with Sherburn Aero Club to give one lucky winner and a friend the chance to enjoy a 1-hour flight experience in a Piper PA28.

Whether you’re a couple, a pair of friends, or family, this is an unforgettable way to celebrate – or just treat yourself to something extraordinary!

What to Expect on the Day

• Arrive in plenty of time and present your voucher at the flight desk at least 30 minutes before your scheduled flight.

• Meet your instructor for a full pre-flight briefing, including the intended route and departure phase.

• Learn about the aircraft during a ‘walk around’ inspection, and get an introduction to the cockpit instrumentation and controls.

• Once airborne, under expert instruction, you’ll have the opportunity to take control of the aircraft, practice climbing, descending, and turning. Prefer to just enjoy the views? No problem – this is entirely optional.

• After landing, you’ll receive a certificate to mark the occasion.

On a clear day, expect fantastic views of Yorkshire, but please note that flying is weather dependent. Sherburn Aero Club recommends calling on the day of your flight to check conditions before travelling.

This competition is free to enter. Entry is ONLY via completing a valid entry form.

The prize is a flight training experience at Sherburn Aero Club for two

ONE ENTRY PER PERSON. Multiple entries will be discounted.

You must provide valid name and contact details. If we are unable to contact you, you may not receive your prize.

Only open to residents in the UK/Eire. 

You must ask an adult's permission before entering this competition.  Please make sure that you include their telephone number on the entry form. Winner will be chosen at random.

Event organisers may change or cancel the event. No liability is accepted for lost entries or if the event does not go ahead. No cash alternative is offered.
