Race to the Altar 2026 – Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter
   The promoter of this competition is Race to the Altar, in partnership with York Pavilion Hotel.

2. Eligibility

   • The competition is open to couples aged 18 or over.

   • Entrants must be legally able to marry in the UK.

   • Couples must be either engaged or intending to get engaged.

   • Employees of the promoter, sponsors, or their immediate families are not eligible to enter.

3. How to Enter

   • Entry is free and must be made via the official Race to the Altar entry form.

   • Only one entry per couple is permitted.

   • Entries must be submitted by the stated closing date. Late entries will not be accepted.

4. The Prize

   • One couple will win a wedding package to be held at York Pavilion Hotel in 2026.

   • The prize package includes elements provided by Race to the Altar and its partners.

   • The prize is subject to availability and venue date restrictions.

   • The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or alternative items.

5. What’s Not Included

   • Any additional costs outside the prize package are the responsibility of the winning couple unless explicitly stated.

6. Winner Selection

   • Shortlisted couples may be contacted for further information or interviews.

   • The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

7. Publicity

   • By entering, couples agree to take part in reasonable publicity, including photography, video recording, and social media content related to the competition and wedding.

   • The promoter reserves the right to use names, images, video and supplied content for promotional purposes without additional compensation.

8. Data Protection

   • Personal data will be used solely for the purposes of administering this competition and in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

   • Data will not be shared with third parties except where necessary to deliver the prize.

9. Withdrawal or Disqualification

   • The promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is incomplete, fraudulent, or does not comply with these terms and conditions.

   • If the winning couple withdraws or becomes ineligible, the promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

10. Changes and Cancellation

    • The promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the competition if circumstances beyond its control make this unavoidable.

11. General

    • Entry into the competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

    • These Terms & Conditions are governed by English law and subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
