York lost out narrowly in a thriller at Odsal 36-28 to Bradford bulls. York took an early lead at 10-4 but conceded far too many penalties and lost their stand in full back to the bin just before half time, and this all proves costly as they found themselves 30-10 down. But a spirited fight back nearly created an upset as they clawed their way back to 30-28 with minutes remaining. Alas it was not to be and the bulls snatched the win with a minute left in a highly absorbing match
