First Bus York Launches New 100% Electric Fleet

YO1 Radio's Jonathan Cowap attended the launch of a fleet of brand new all-electric buses, coming to the streets of York in the coming weeks. First Bus York is introducing 53 of the emission-free buses to routes across the City. Once fully operational it will be the first fully electric fleet outside of London.
Jonathan spoke with First Bus MD, Andrew Cullen and City of York Council Leader Claire Douglas about the initiative - and even got the chance to sit in the driver's seat!
