The York RLFC Knights progressed to the sixth round of the Challenge Cup last night with a tight victory over the struggling Newcastle Thunder.

After trailing by twelve points to four at half time, Andrew Henderson's men were able to come from behind and win the game 22-18, with tries coming from AJ Towse, Matty Marsh, Liam Harris and Joe Brown, all but one of which were converted by James Glover. 

The York Knights progressed to the sixth round of the Challenge Cup last night with a tight victory over the struggling Newcastle Thunder.

After a mixed start to their Betfred Championship campaign, the Knights welcomed a break from league action in the form of a cup game against a Thunder side who have won only one of their nine league matches so far this season.
