York City FC are delighted to announce the permanent signing of Joe Grey from Hartlepool United, subject to FA and league approval.
The 22-year-old forward and winger ends a six-year spell with the Pools, having come through their youth system and breaking into the first team during the 2020/21 season, where he played a part in securing promotion to League Two via the play-offs.
Grey went on to make over 155 appearances for Hartlepool, scoring 24 goals and providing 16 assists during his time at the club, including 45 appearances during their two-season stint in the Football League.
York fans will be excited to see what the dynamic young attacker brings to the pitch.
