York City has announced the signing of highly rated youngster Jack Stott from Championship side Middlesbrough.
The 19-year-old midfielder joins the Minstermen until January 1st to further strengthen Mikey Morton’s midfield options.
Joining his boyhood club at Under 9 level, Jack signed a three-year deal at Boro during his first season as a scholar.
Middlesbrough kicked off their Premier League 2 campaign with a 2-2 draw away to Nottingham Forest earlier in the month, where Stott scored after just seven minutes whilst also wearing the captain’s armband.
