City of York Hockey Club lost to Brigg at the weekend in an eleven goal thriller. York travelled to Brigg in a mid-table clash, however were subject to a 7-4 defeat. York now sit ninth in the Yorkshire and North East Men’s Premier Division, with their opponents moving up to fourth. City will be looking to return to winning ways on Saturday, when they take on bottom placed Leeds third team at the York University Pitch one.
