Celebrations were in order for many youngsters at Fulford School this morning (Thursday, August 15) after collecting their grades.
Seventy-five per cent of all results were A* to B grades, with 50 per cent of students achieving A* or A in A-levels or distinction in vocational courses.
Over 60 per cent of students achieved an A* or A grade in maths, biology, chemistry and physics.
Eight secured places at Oxbridge and five will study medicine.
Head teacher Russell Harris praised the students for their hard work.
"We talk about being the change we wish to see in the world,” he told The Press. “It sums it up when you see the ambition here… we can’t be prouder of them.”
