A YORK MP has hit out at the region's water supplier branding the decision to lift the hosepipe ban 'deeply frustrating and five months late'.
The comments from York Outer Labour MP Luke Charters came as Yorkshire Water lifted its hosepipe ban on Wednesday (December 10).
The water company introduced restrictions across Yorkshire on July 11 following the driest Spring in 132 years and a record-breaking hot Summer.
They say introducing hosepipe restrictions in July was not a decision taken lightly.
