York Marina at Naburn has won a prestigious five Gold Anchor Award through an accreditation program for marinas where they are graded in gold anchors, similar to star ratings for hotels.
York Marina at Naburn has won a prestigious five Gold Anchor Award through an accreditation program for marinas where they are graded in gold anchors, similar to star ratings for hotels.
It follows a rigorous assessment by The Yacht Harbour Association (TYHA) and puts them on the world stage.
York Marina, was bought by Phil and Pam Bleakley in 2006, and their son, Richard, is the marina manager with his wife, Nia also working for the business, which employs about 40 people.
