A CHIPPY in a York village has made a big impression in the marketing initiative of the year category of a top award.
The Scrap Box in Dunnington has been nominated in the National Fish & Chip Awards and staff will be heading to London in February to find out if they are officially the best for campaign creativity.
Owner Aman Dhesi said: "For us, marketing isn’t about flashy campaigns, it’s about curiosity, education and inviting people along for the journey. Whether that’s exploring different fish species, talking openly about sourcing, or having a bit of fun with food history, we just try to be ourselves. This nomination feels like a real boost for the whole team and for the customers who’ve supported us every step of the way
