York has been named among the most expensive areas for first-time buyers in Britain, according to new analysis.
The city’s average asking price for a first-time buyer type property (two bedrooms and fewer) was found to be £244,834, reports Rightmove.
Additionally, the average monthly mortgage payment (per month) in York was discovered to be £908 and its average monthly rental payment (per month) was £1,145.
