The Cottage Inn at Haxby gets one-star for food hygiene.
City of York Council inspectors gave the rating, meaning ‘major improvement necessary’, after a visit on November 24 to the Cottage Inn at 115 The Village, Haxby.
The Food Standards Agency website reports that for hygienic food handling, the standard was ‘improvement necessary.’
It was also ‘improvement necessary’ for the cleanliness and condition of the facilities and the building.
