Award-winning comedian, broadcaster and writer Dara Ó Briain and Canadian comedian, broadcaster and writer Katherine Ryan will co-headline the first York Comedy Festival at Museum Gardens on Sunday, July 6.
Ó Briain has become a household name thanks to his regular appearances on Mock The Week, which he hosted for 21 series, as well as Have I Got News For You? and Live At The Apollo.
Tour-de-force Ryan, meanwhile, is set to bring her razor-sharp wit and deadpan delivery to York.
She is a familiar face as a team captain on 8 Out of 10 Cats and has featured regularly on shows including QI, Would I Lie To You? and Have I Got News For You?.
Maisie Adam, Joel Dommett, Clinton Baptiste, Angelos Epithemiou, Vittorio Angelone, Scott Bennett will also perform on the day, which will be hosted by Stephen Bailey.
