Humberside Police said three vehicles were involved in the crash on the A1079 near Market Weighton at about 2pm on Sunday, February 2.
A blue Honda Civic, grey Kia and black Kia were involved in the crash at the junction of York Road and Holme Road, from Shiptonthorpe to Market Weighton.
“The passenger of the blue Honda Civic was taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries,” a police spokesperson said.
“Two other people were also taken to hospital for treatment to their injuries.”
The road was closed at the time to allow emergency services to work at the scene.
Officers urge anyone with information about the crash to contact Humberside Police.
Those with information are asked to phone 101 quoting log 195 of February 2.
