North Yorkshire Police say it happened at Reighton Nurseries, close to Hunmanby Road south of Filey in the early hours of Saturday (February 22) at about 12.20am.
A police spokesman said: "Offenders entered the premises and made off with cash.
"If you have any CCTV or Ring doorbell coverage, we ask that you check this and report any activity that may help our investigation or appear suspicious.
"We’re also appealing for any general information about the incident.
