Starting on Valentine's Day (February 14) Cafe No8 Bistro in Gillygate will open on Fridays and Saturdays for breakfast and lunch.
No 8, which celebrated it's 20th anniversary last year, currently opens from Wednesday to Saturday from 5pm–10pm and Sunday from noon to 4pm and the new Friday and Saturday working hours will mean breakfast is served from 9am-noon and lunch from 12pm-2pm.
Run by chef Chris Pragnell with business partner Martin Gore, the bistro has long been established on the York eating out scene – and a firm favourite with its fans.
