THE owners of a top York restaurant have released further details of plans to open a stunning new venue in a major city.

• York Central should not be an oasis of privilege, one of the developers overseeing the development has said as updates on timescales and plans for commercial space were revealed.

• An historic building in York’s Coney Street is on the market after plans to turn it into a Hard Rock Cafe and hotel fell through.

  The former TK Maxx site, which fronts onto Coney Street and Market Street, comes with a £5.5 million price tag – and is thought to be one of the most expensive properties marketed in York this year.
