A care home in York is inviting the public to a free dementia advice session.
The Chocolate Works, run by Care UK, will host the event on Monday, February 23, from 2pm to 4pm as part of The Big Dementia Conversation, a national scheme to improve understanding of dementia.
Judy Wray, home manager at Chocolate Works, said: "When dementia progresses and a relative begins to experience increasing cognitive impairment, it can be challenging for families and friends to know what to do or say.
