A SCHOOL in North Yorkshire will remain closed today (December 2) after a crash in which a girl died.
The teenager died in a crash close to Tadcaster Grammar School in Toulston Lane - at the junction with Rudgate - at about 12.28pm on Monday (December 1).
In a statement Tadcaster Town Council said: “Our thoughts and deepest sympathies go out to all involved in this terrible tragedy, and their families.
“Please note that Tadcaster Grammar School will be closed on Tuesday, and this section of Toulston Lane will remain closed while the police investigations take place, and the road is made safe.”
