On Friday 18 and Saturday 19 November, Rachael Maskell MP is organising a York Together – Warm Weekend event in partnership with York Central Methodist Church to bring together support across the city to secure essential supplies to help local families and individuals keep warm through the winter.
On Friday 18 and Saturday 19 November, Rachael Maskell MP is organising a York Together – Warm Weekend event in partnership with York Central Methodist Church to bring together support across the city to secure essential supplies to help local families and individuals keep warm through the winter. These essential items will then be distributed by a city-wide alliance of foodbanks and community groups to residents in need.
York Warm Weekend Appeal - Donations Wish List
New:
• Socks
• Thermal underwear
• Blankets or throws
• Space Blankets
• Hand and Feet Warmers
• Hot Water Bottles
• Hot drink tokens for local cafes or takeaways
New or good quality used
• Winter coats
• Hats and scarfs
• Gloves

York Together – Warm Weekend are looking for donations in both adult and child sizes

How to donate:
If you are able to support with donations of new or good quality used clothing, blankets and other warm gear, please take these along to Central Methodist Church, St Saviourgate, between 10 am - 3 pm on 18 and 19 November. A list of suggested donations is attached.
