A YORK singer songwriter is staging a special Christmas concert this weekend.
Alistair Griffin's Ignite Concerts is set to perform a Big Christmas Concert at 2.30pm on Saturday (December 21) at Q York in Priory Street.
It follows on from Ignite Concerts’ Big Christmas Concert which delivered 'an unforgettable evening of joy, music, and Christmas magic' at the same venue last Saturday (December 14).
Back in 2022 Alistair, who shot to fame on the BBC talent show Fame Academy in 2002, scored a number 5 hit with a track co-penned with his former mentor, BeeGee Robin Gibb.
Talking about last weekend's performance Alistair said: "From the moment guests arrived, the atmosphere was electric.
"A brass band welcomed the audience with stirring renditions of traditional carols, setting the perfect tone for the night ahead. Inside, the main event exceeded every expectation.
