A popular York city centre wine bar has announced it is to move.
Pairings Wine Bar in Castlegate says it hopes to move to a larger site nearby in the autumn.
The popular wine bar was founded by sisters Kate and Kelly Latham in 2015.
Over the years the venue become known for top wines in a relaxed setting and friendly service.
To meet customer trends it introduced alcohol free beverages, vegan cheeseboards, wine tasting experiences, plus events such as Charlotte Tilbury make-up evenings, networking lunches and Abstract Painting Masterclasses.
Pairings Wine Bar currently resides at 28 Castlegate and will remain there until the relocation takes place.
Kelly said: “We love our current home but our lease is now up and it feels like the perfect time to expand our offering. A larger premises means we can comfortably welcome in more customers. But our proposed new site also means that we can increase our food offering, and even open up a space for private hire.
