Appeal to locate owners of suspected stolen bicycles
Officers located the bicycles in a flat during an unrelated incident in September 2022.
A man has been arrested and released under investigation on suspicion of handling stolen goods.
So far, two of the bicycles have been returned to their rightful owners.
This includes one who was identified as they had registered it with The NMPR (National Mobile Property Register) scheme. We encourage all bike owners to go to www.nmpr.com to register as soon as possible.
North Yorkshire Police have not yet been able to find the owners of the remaining bikes.
Please view the photographs and come forward if you are one of owners or think you know who they are.
