Appeal following assault in York
It happened outside Waterstones on Coney Street between the hours of 9.15pm and 9.30pm on Friday 02 December 2022.
Two women, aged in their 30s were assaulted.
A 15-year-old girl was arrested on suspicion of assault and resist arrest. A second 15-year-old girl was also arrested on suspicion of assault, resist arrest and a public order offence.
Both girls were interviewed and released under investigation.
Police are now requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
