North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said they were called in at 6.44pm on Wednesday (March 5) to an address in Acomb.
A service spokesman said: “A crew from Acomb assisted a person who had collapsed in the street suffering a head wound.
“The crew used there immediate emergency care pack and took observations until an ambulance arrived. Paramedics then took over the care of the casualty.”
