Plans for new padel court in Brayton, North Yorkshire
A Jackson Developments has applied for consent to build an additional court behind Brayton Community Centre, in Foxhill Lane, near Selby.
The racquet game, which combines elements of tennis and squash, has become one of the fastest-growing sports in the world.
Courts are divided into two service boxes either side of the net – like in tennis – but are surrounded by glass walls, a steel cage, and doors on either side.
