City of York Council will receive £360,000 this financial year to improve its roads, followed by a further £360,000 for the financial year beginning in 2024.
At a full council meeting on Thursday, November 23, the Conservative Party’s Cllr Martin Rowley asked the Labour administration’s economy and transport executive member Cllr Pete Kilbane if he welcomed the funding.
