THE full events programme has been unveiled ahead of an ever popular festival returning to York in November.
The Aesthetica Film Festival is now in its 15th year and promises to be the biggest yet when it is staged in York from November 5 to 9.
Far beyond a film event, Aesthetica transforms the city into a living hub of creativity, where cinema, music, comedy, virtual reality, games, podcasts, and live performance converge.
Festival Director Cherie Federico said: "I am thrilled to bring Aesthetica back to York, a city whose creative energy and UNESCO designation as a City of Media Arts make it the perfect home for this international celebration of storytelling. From world premieres to workshops for young people, this festival embodies the spirit of innovation and inclusivity that defines York today."
Aesthetica’s reputation reaches far beyond the UK. From the New York Times to the Guardian, world-class journalists, filmmakers and industry leaders are descending on York to take part in screenings, panels and discussions.
