Filming for a new series of a popular crime drama is set to get underway in York.
Patience, a Channel 4 drama set in York, has returned to the city this week to film the second series of the show.
Filming is due to start at York Minster tomorrow (Wednesday, June 18).
The drama follows Patience (played by Ella Maisy Purvis), a young woman with autism who works in the criminal records department for ‘City of York Police’.
In a letter to residents, Eagle Eye Drama, the company behind the show, has said filming will take place for around 10 hours at the Minster starting outside the ancient cathedral's West Entrance at 7.30am tomorrow.
Film crews will then move to Precentors Court - where the show's on screen lead, Patience, lives - from 10.30am to 1pm, then end the day in Deans Park by 3pm.
