A YORK bakery is closed after a fire took a hold at their shop earlier this week.
Cornish Bakery, in Colliergate, is currently closed after reports of a fire taking place at the premises.
Whilst details of the incident are yet to be confirmed, the counter area of the shop looks to be mostly intact with smoke damage concentrated on the ceiling.
Notices are currently posted in the windows that say ‘due to a fire, we are closed. We will reopen shortly. Sorry for any inconvenience.’
