York telecommunications company Cellhire will provide more than 6,000 secure IoT and data connections for next month’s Winter Olympics in Italy and the Winter Paralympics in March.
For athletes, organisers and sponsors, the offering includes bespoke voice and data bundles.
National and global media and broadcasters will benefit from large data bundles, mobile hotspots, smartphones and other value added telecom services, enabling them to broadcast and report live at any time during the games.
