BREAKING : RAIL passengers are being warned of major cancellations on the trains between York and Leeds this morning.

Transpennine Express services between Leeds and York and Leeds and Hull LNER services are cancelled between York and Doncaster in both directions.

Passengers wanting to travel between York and Hull are having to go via Doncaster.

It's due to urgent repairs to the track between York and Leeds. The line is blocked and Northern services running through both stations are being cancelled.
