As The Press previously reported, the Leeds-based developers Camstead Homes - which was behind Blackberry Walk in Derwenthorpe - went into administration.
Following this, Interpath took over as the administrators of Camstead Homes' portfolio.
It has since been confirmed that Watling Real Estate will be responsible for selling some of Camstead Homes' portfolio.
Rob Cruikshank, associate director of Watling, told The Press that they will be looking to sell all of the 37 remaining units together to prospective developers.
Mr Cruikshank said: "Blackberry Walk forms phase five of the wider Derwenthorpe development. The site is in a great location and is only a mile away from the centre of York.
"The scheme will provide a mix of three and four-bedroomed houses, with the remaining units at varying stages of completion.
"Nine units have the full brickwork complete, while 28 units have either partial brickwork complete or are built to a slab/foundation level.
He added that Watling Real Estate has already received some interest from possible buyers.
