A combination of snowmelt and heavy rain has meant that Osbaldwick Beck has burst its banks, flooding Hull Road Park.
First York say their services are diverted from Osbaldwick village, due to the beck bursting its banks there too.
The Hull Road and Tang Hall area near the Hull Road end of Melrosegate was affected by flooding in 2015 and also in 1947, 1982 and 2000.
The water level there hasn't yet reached the road and nearby houses nearby.
