As The Press reported at the time, the crash happened on Thursday morning (May 22) in Skeldergate, at the junction with Micklegate, when a woman pedestrian was struck by a silver Toyota Corolla car as she was crossing the road.
The woman suffered serious injuries and is receiving treatment in hospital.
North Yorkshire Police say the man who was driving the car is assisting officers with their enquiries.
