A WELL-KNOWN TV biker is set to headline an annual adrenaline-fueled event in York.

Former motorcycle racer and television presenter Guy Martin is set to headline The Speed Show at Elvington Airfield on Saturday and Sunday, February 22 and 23.

Guy will be on-site alongside the Spirit of GB bike, as he gears up for an upcoming world record attempt.

The Speed Show is an annual showcase event dedicated to straight-line speed, showcasing the best in drag racing, high-performance vehicles, and record-breaking machines.

Event organiser Mark Starzynski, said: "It's a weekend packed with everything that moves fast in a straight line. It's an electrifying lineup of drag racers, high-performance motorbikes, jet cars, and more.

"Guy Martin will be showcasing the Spirit of GB bike as he gears up for his upcoming world record attempts.

"Fans will have the opportunity to see him up close and witness the machine that could make history.

"A variety of performance machines will be showcased inside heated marquees, offering a feast for the eyes of every motorsport enthusiast."
