Peggy in Coney Street promises savings of up to 70% on wedding dresses bought off-the-peg, as the dresses will have been samples.
Its owner believes customers will have saved ‘thousands’ in the period since it opened on Saturday August 17.
The business is the creation of Shannon Martin, a former contestant on the Apprentice, who opened her Dotty Bridal store in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire, ten years ago.
Shannon said this week: “We have been thrilled with our opening week and the number of brides-to-be who came to see us to seek our help in finding their perfect dress,” said Mrs Martin.
“There was such a good buzz around the shop all week. We had five brides find their dream dress on the first day alone and had so much lovely feedback throughout the week about our offering.
