A shop in one of York's busiest streets has closed after 15 years.

Owners of Il Gusto, Low Petergate, confirmed to The Press that their high street branch has closed. They said that their lease has ended, however, shoppers can still buy their products online here: www.ilgusto.com.

Il Gusto stocked oils, vinegars, and a range of different alcoholic drinks.

Once boasting six different sites in their portfolio. Il Gusto retains a high street presence in High Wycombe, Stoke on Trent and Greenhithe - which is near Dartford.

Previous customers at the York store are encouraged to use discount code 'York' when shopping online, to get free delivery on their orders.
