The future of Wilton Rise and the Victorian footbridge which spans the railway lines at the end of Cinder Lane will be the focus of the meeting on Thursday (September 11) at St Paul's Church in Holgate from 6pm-8pm.
It follows a meeting back in February where Holgate residents were among those who turned out to hear more about the latest on the York Central regeneration project currently underway behind York Railway Station.
And last month almost 200 York residents turned up to learn more about what is one of the largest regeneration projects in the country.
Among the issues discussed in February was the future of Wilton Rise and the Victorian footbridge that spans the railway lines at the end of Cinder Lane.
Wilton Rise footbridge is set to be demolished and replaced a short distance away.
Allan Cook, Arlington managing director said they were committed as part of their plans, to resurfacing Wilton Rise, which has long ranked among the worst in the city for potholes.
He said that it will be accompanied by a plan to remove the current outdated pedestrian bridge and replace it with one that is fully accessible and which will come out close to the community garden at the end of Upper St Paul's Terrace.
