The 'March to the Minster' event will take place on Saturday, February 15, with people invited to meet at York Museum Gardens at 12.15pm.
The march will then begin at 12.30pm, with people encouraged to wear high-vis clothing if they are going to be affected by the inheritance tax policies.
All are welcome to attend, with children encouraged to bring their pedal tractors.
Labour MPs and councillors from York have also been invited to attend, with guest speakers expected.
The march follows a meeting held at Thirsk Auction Mart on Friday, January 10, where about 200 people attended to discuss the future of the farming industry.
The meeting was organised by Phil and Clare Wise, who farm at Skipton-on-Swale, near Thirsk.
They also arranged a rally in Thirsk Market Place in November to draw attention to issues including inheritance tax changes announced in the Budget, rises in National Insurance Contributions, and the minimum wage.
