A MAN wanted after an attack in York has been arrested by police.

On Sunday (March 2) North Yorkshire Police launched a man hunt for 36-year-old Daniel Bhanura of Fossway in the city.

They wanted to speak to him about a serious assault in York that resulted in another man sustaining serious head injuries.

The force now say: “He has been arrested and is police custody.

“Thank you to everyone who shared the appeal.”
