The Friends of Rowntree Park told The Press that the park still hadn't recovered from the flooding in York before Christmas.
A spokesperson said: "Rowntree Park has been closed since mid December due to flooding.
"In 2023, the park was closed 20 per cent of the year due to the risk of flooding.
"The park should be open 364 days of the year."
