The retail park in Huntington was developed by the Wetherby-headquartered Oakgate Group in 2014.
Oakgate, which is part of the Caddick Group, sold it on that year to the institutional investor for £62.5 million.
The Vangarde Shopping Park is home to Yorkshire’s largest Marks & Spencer department store, the former John Lewis, which became Go Outdoors, it’s largest in Europe, and a 30,000 sq ft Next.
In addition, the site also contains eight restaurants and kiosks units including Nando’s, Prezzo, Costa, Caffe Nero, Loungers and Mama Doreens.
There are 1,340 free car-parking spaces.
British Land has been growing its portfolio of retail sites since last year.
Last October it bought seven retail parks from Canadian investment management company Brookfield for £441m.
